Research was chartered in 1994
to facilitate public access to the wealth of information held by the
National Archives, and has grown in breadth to
encompass the national and military collections of the United
States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, and
the Republics of the former Soviet Union. Over the years, WR
has established many rewarding relationships with veteran's
organizations from all major combatant nations and therefore has
access to an unprecedented number of resources held in public,
military, and private collections.
WR provides data on a wide range of topics from relatively simple
personnel research to the identification of
aircraft sixty years after being downed in combat. Our
clients vary from relatives of veterans hoping to know more about a
loved ones contribution, to governments trying to clarify history as
it developed on their soil.
WR has become involved in asset restitution and
recovery issues from the Second World War. These projects have
led to excavations and dives in Germany, Austria, and Italy.
Contact WR today to discuss
your research requirements. There is no obligation.
